You’ve heard of life coaches, career coaches, and business coaches. You may have heard of parent coaches and Christian coaches. But have you heard of garden coaches? They exist, and apparently according to the article at Free Press, are a growing demand. (No pun intended!)

Life Coaching for Scottish Prisoners
Life coaching was offered to prisoners in Scotland in an effort to support them to integrate back into the community and not re-offend. As you can imagine, if you release a person back into the same environment that landed them in jail, chances are they will end up in jail again.
Initially the results have shown that the percentage of prisoners who get jobs when they are released is 21% in the group that had coaches and less than half of that for released prisoners without them. The whole aim is to reduce the rate of re-offending, though those statistics are not yet available.
